Mike began practicing yoga about 15 years ago and has been a teacher at LoveYoga since 2012. Mike loves that yoga is a physical and spiritual practice for all ages and his own practice has kept him grounded through rough times. Mike has practiced law for many years in Beaumont and is the father of 4 wonderful kids, 2 great daughters-in law, and 3 amazing grandchildren. Namaste.
Jessica's journey with yoga started about 7 years ago as a way to lose weight and get in shape. The more she practiced, she realized that her practice was rooting her and grounding her into something much deeper- something intangible. Yoga has taught Jessica that self-love is essential and to be present and just breathe. The beauty of the practice is not about the results, but about the journey. Her teaching focuses on finding a balance between strength and stability. Yoga can be practiced at any age or stage and Jessica makes sure that all levels are comfortable in her classes.
Fill yourself with loving kindness and it has no choice but to spill out onto those you meet. When you look deeply into your own need for compassion, acceptance, and forgiveness, there is no effort in offering those to others. The effort is in remembering. Remembering is in the practice. Practice with me and remember the beauty of your own strength, courage peace, and kindness. Namaste.
